The Curriculum

Combining systems analysis with liberatory strategy and organising skills, Comet aims to develop the leadership capacities necessary to build effective, people-powered organisations for revolutionary change.

The curriculum is delivered through diverse resources (including readings, videos, and podcasts), seminar-style discussions, group exercises, and trainings from leading organisers and intellectuals. The curriculum also builds off of the existing knowledge and experience of participants, fostering an environment of collective learning, unity, and trust.

“My 4 months in Comet have transformed me into a different person. Before the course, I lacked the clarity and confidence to understand my political conditions and the necessary strategic interventions to bring about transformation. Now, I have developed my ideological, political, organisational, and social capacities to the extent that I understand where to lead the struggle next.”

2025 Comet Cohort

“I crossed paths with the Comet programme at a time where I was feeling very disillusioned with my activist life. I can now say after four months that this was one of the best decisions of my life.”
