ICE and Amerikan Fascism
ICE’s siege on the people of Minnesota is part of the US’s broader decent towards fascism. Fascism is not a departure from capitalism. Rather, it is a political system that directly emerges from capitalism, especially during moments of hegemonic crisis. As repression in the US ramps up, so too does resistance, with popular ambitions for a general strike. A unique opportunity exists to extend organic community struggles against ICE to a broader socialist transformation in the heart of empire.
